Static Hill is our horror project. it lives as found footage, analog and psx-flavored shorts, and pieces you play more than watch. the shorts are just the first look at one horror world we keep adding to.
our post is a mix of analog and digital. some of the footage runs through a physical chain of vhs decks, a crt, and a glitch box before we finish it. the 3d and psx-style pieces are made in unreal engine and blender. we also write and produce all of our own music and sound effects.

not all of it is something you only watch. some of it you have to look closer at, and some of it asks you to choose. your choice rarely ends well.

the work so far
- the parking garage: when you feel like you’re being watched on the walk to your car
- the tall men: a farmhouse, five seconds to pick your weapon, and then you find out which rule you broke. the tall men are eleven feet tall, fast, and don’t feel pain
- the old dock: separated from your friends when the fog rolls in, with a ferry that leaves at nightfall and several bad ways to spend the night
- the found-footage stills: quiet rooms with something in them

where it’s going
right now it’s shorts, but we want static hill to grow past that. stay tuned for merch, then books, and maybe films or a series down the line.
